Brown linseed is a natural source of essential fatty acids including omega 3 and omega 6. Flaxseed is commonly used to improve digestive health or relieve constipation. Flaxseed may also help lower total blood cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or "bad") cholesterol levels, which may help reduce the risk of heart disease.
How to use:
Brown linseed is great to add to breakfast cereals or ground to make meal, which can then be used to make porridge, in cereal, muesli and flapjacks or baked into your favourite baked goods. One of the most popular uses for linseed is as an egg replacement.
